Call for applications for the GO Forschung Award 2026

The GO Forschung Award is given annually to the best student thesis at the University of Bayreuth that qualifies for a doctorate (e.g. Master‘s thesis).

The thesis

* either deals with gender, gender relations and/or gender roles in an intersectional framework

* or conducts a systematic, intersectional gender relevance assessment of the research object.

The GO Forschung Award is bestowed with 500€.

The GO Forschung Award is part of the BMFTR-funded project ‘GO Forschung’ (Gender - Offensive - Research), which aims to support researchers in integrating gender and intersectionality into their research projects, as excellent research is orientated towards the needs of all people and takes into account that the results can have different consequences for different genders. Applications can be submitted online via our homepage: https://www.frauenbeauftragte.uni-bayreuth.de/de/go-forschung/award/index.html
